Founder of Results Oriented Learning, LLC
Executive & Leadership Coach | Learning Strategist | Master Facilitator

I believe the best learning experiences create more than understanding. They create transformation.

For more than 20 years, I have worked in training and development, leadership, and coaching. I have led instructional design and delivery teams for organizations such as Skillsoft and Global Knowledge and have been responsible for creating and improving world-class learning solutions in leadership, business skills, and IT. I have also held roles in operations, experience management, and organizational development, which means I understand learning from both the classroom and the business side.

My academic background is in adult learning. I hold a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Training and Development and have completed graduate and undergraduate studies in psychology and business. That mix of education and experience shows up in how I design and deliver learning experiences that are both practical and grounded in how adults actually learn.

What I Do

Today, I divide my time between:

  • Partnering with training organizations as a facilitator, coach, and learning strategist

  • Working directly with individuals and organizations on coaching and custom learning solutions

  • Advising on how to raise the quality and impact of training delivery

In practice, that can look like:

  • Facilitating leadership and professional skills programs

  • Coaching executives and high-potential leaders

  • Helping L&D teams design or refine programs so they lead to measurable behavior change

  • Supporting instructor and facilitator development so delivery quality stays consistently high

I am open to contract engagements, ongoing partnerships, and selected full-time roles where my background in leadership development, instructional design, and delivery excellence can make a meaningful difference.

How I Work

My approach to learning and development is straightforward and proven:

  • Make it relevant to real work and real decisions

  • Give people time and structure to reflect on what they are learning

  • Create opportunities for realistic practice, not just discussion

  • Provide clear, specific, and directive feedback

  • Connect each learning experience back to the outcomes the organization cares about

Over the years, I have developed several tools to support this kind of work, including the So What, Now What? Framework™ and the 3R Cycle™. They help people pause, make sense of important moments, and choose intentional next steps. These tools are useful when they serve the client’s goals, but they never replace good analysis, thoughtful design, and strong facilitation.

Staying Current: AI and Modern Learning

I serve on the AI Certified Trainer (AICT) Advisory Board for AI CERTs, where I help advise on standards for AI-enabled training and coach development. I also hold multiple AI+ certifications that focus on how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly in project management, learning and development, executive work, and everyday knowledge work.

This work keeps me close to the ways AI is changing leadership, learning, and work. My focus is on using these tools to enhance clarity, practice, and feedback for learners, not to replace the human relationships that make development possible.

Let’s Talk

Whether I am working directly with an individual or organization or working through a training provider, my goal is the same: to help people and teams turn insight into action and action into results.

If you are looking for a partner to help you strengthen your leadership pipeline, improve your learning offerings, or support your facilitators and coaches, I would be glad to talk.

Why the Birkman Method?

The Birkman Method is a powerful tool to help people develop Emotional Intelligence and understand personality characteristics that influence behaviors, motivations, and perceptions. It is grounded in over 70 years of research and considered a top tier psychometric assessment in terms of reliability and validity. Results Oriented Learning uses The Birkman Method for three main reasons:

1. The Birkman Method provides the perfect balance of scientific proof and simplicity.

Most of the reports shared with clients and program participants include narrative statements that make it easy for people to read, reflect, and then act. In addition, The Birkman Method makes use of colors as an easy way to talk about your unique personality type measured by four benchmarks: Usual Behavior, Interests, Needs, and Stress Behavior. By understanding your behaviors, expectations, and stressors through four easy-to-remember colors, you can better develop your communication and decision-making skills, increase your self-awareness, and enhance your performance. Of course, underneath all those colors and statements is A LOT of data and a Birkman Certified Professional can guide you through both the data and narrative portions of your reports to facilitate a transformative learning experience.

2. The Birkman Method focuses on Needs.

Most other behavior/personality assessments focus on productive behaviors and strengths. It’s easy to see how people show up in a situation, but much more difficult to understand the hidden needs that drive behavior. Relationships suffer when needs are not met and only The Birkman Method prioritizes understanding and meeting your needs and the needs of others in order to build and maintain healthy relationships.

3. The Birkman Method provides unique comparison and insights reports.

No other behavior/personality assessment provides the type of reports used in the services offered by Results Oriented Learning.
